About Tackle Football:
Tackle teams travel to compete against other towns and football organizations that are members of the The Chicagoland Youth Football League (TCYFL).
The tackle program has two types of teams:
| Big Ten | There is one "Big Ten" team per level that plays mainly on Sundays. The players are selected by the team's head coach to represent LZ Flames most competitive players at each age and weight level. |
| Pac Ten | Remaining players are equally split among "Pac Ten" teams that play mostly on Saturdays. For these teams, the rules mandate equal playing time and the emphasis is instruction, development and participation. |
Age and Weight Parameters:
Age and weight parameters determine which level each player plays at. These rules are specified by the TCYFL and are available for review by clicking here.
